TJ Burns is the Founder & Principal of Burns Capital Partners, a real estate focused private equity firm.

TJ started his real estate journey with buying single family and small multifamily homes. After finding success as a passive investor, he switched his focus to syndications and funds. He’s syndicated $5M in investor equity from 50+ LPs, and manages funds across Multifamily, Short Term Rentals, and Private Credit.

Before real estate, TJ worked in consumer electronic product design at Amazon. He’s an inventor on 20+ patents, and his products have shipped to tens of millions of households worldwide. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from MIT.
